 Lake Norman 

The area known as Lake Norman, between Charlotte and Statesville, has grown rapidly in the past 30 years and has become a very popular place to call home. People from all walks of life, from retirees to professional race car drivers, choose to live here. Real Estate of all types are available, such as waterfront and waterview condos, resort style golf and waterfront communities, friendly subdivisions, and quaint bustling historic downtowns.

Growth has been strong and there is something for everybody on Lake Norman; from small summer cottages on the Northwest shores to multi-million dollar estates. I-77 runs along the east side of the lake and, because of the fast and easy access to Charlotte, the lake's east side has developed very quickly. Lake Norman is the largest body of water within reasonable commuting distance of Charlotte. Its 510 miles of shoreline have allowed the lake to become a very popular recreation spot, attracting thousands of visitors every year for fishing, swimming and boating.
